There simply aren’t enough words to explain how beautifully written this book is. Similar to my all-time favorite book, Book Lovers, Henry captured the essence of grief and how it affects us in different ways. The blurb makes it sound as though the book is just about what happens when two writers experience writer’s block, but I feel like this book was so much more than that.
It’s about love, but it’s about the love we have to find within ourselves. It’s about forgiveness and second chances in hope and taking a leap of faith. In Beach Read, we learn about the tension between the versions of ourselves that we let people know and the pieces of our soul we keep hidden.
